Designed and built entirely from the ground up, the Signature Layered Tee served as one of the earliest foundations for the Winsome Studios approach to fit, proportion, and garment construction. Developed through custom patterning and hands-on assembly, the piece explores layering not through styling, but through the garment itself.
Constructed with a double-layer silhouette, the tee features contrasting sleeve extensions, exposed seam detailing, and a cropped, boxy fit designed to sit wide through the body with a shorter overall length. The fabric carries a soft structured drape that balances weight and movement while maintaining shape over time.
As with many early Winsome projects, each piece was produced in small quantities as part of an evolving design process — refining proportion, construction, and feel through experimentation rather than standardization.
