Palm Tree Patch

Embroidered Velcro patch designed for the Modular Volt Cap system. Built on layered camouflage fabric with exposed raw-cut edges and dense satin stitching throughout, giving the piece a sun-worn, collected-over-time feeling.

The artwork features a loosely illustrated palm tree rendered in exaggerated neon greens and deep shadow tones, inspired by old surf stickers, motel signage, and hand-painted beach graphics. The fronds intentionally shift in stitch density and edge sharpness, creating movement and a slightly wind-blown appearance rather than a perfectly clean vectorized finish.

Heavy black outlining contrasts against the vibrant threadwork to push the design toward a vintage souvenir aesthetic — somewhere between tropical postcard nostalgia and DIY skate culture. The camouflage backing introduces tension against the softness of the imagery, grounding the patch in the brand’s ongoing balance of serenity and grit.
