A study exploring accumulation, visible repair, and the transformation of everyday objects through hand-applied intervention, repetition, and time.
Originally altered through distressing and a shortened brim to create a softer, more worn silhouette, the cap remained untouched for nearly a year before being revisited through hand-stitched embroidery extending across its full structure. Rather than following a predetermined pattern, each stitch was applied intuitively — allowing the surface to evolve gradually through observation, repetition, and response.
Approached more like a repaired artifact than a finished product, the cap reflects an ongoing interest in visible construction, material memory, and the evidence left behind by process.
