W-★ Patch

Embroidered Velcro patch designed for the Modular Volt Cap system. Built on layered camouflage fabric with raw-cut edges, satin stitch outlining, and intentionally uneven line density to preserve the energy of the original hand-drawn sketch.

The artwork began as a loose marker illustration and was translated directly into thread with minimal cleanup — allowing subtle imperfections, varied stroke weight, and off-balance spacing to remain visible throughout the patch. The result feels closer to a tagged surface or notebook sketch than a polished emblem.

Inspired by street art, skate graphics, motocross culture, and individuality, the character’s hand subtly forms a “W” through the arrangement of three fingers, while the thumb and pointer connect to create a star over the eye. Designed to feel playful, expressive, and slightly chaotic — like a personal symbol repeatedly drawn in the margins over time.
